This document will explain how to create an API user
WHAT RESOURCES WILL YOU NEED?
- Administrator or ManagerT1 Access to https://www.bpoint.com.au/backoffice (PROD) Or https://bpoint.uat.linkly.com.au/bpoint/ (UAT)
WHAT RULES WILL NEED TO BE FOLLOWED?
- Merchant Facility must be either Checkout or Enterprise Package
- Log into Merchant Back office
- Navigate to Settings > Manager Users
- Click New user
- Enter in First Name, Last Name, Username, Email address > Select User Role as API > Click Save
- Enter in your Administrator or Manager T1 password to confirm the creation.
Note: You are not creating a new password for the API user. This will be generated in the next step
- A password will be generated and presented to your on screen. This password is to be used for your API integration and cannot be changed. API users can only authenticate through API calls and cannot log into the back office.
