Smart refunds
Refunding a total or partial transaction is easy within BPOINT. Plus, rules are in place, so refunds never exceed transaction totals.
Easy receipts
Resend receipts to your customers within manage transactions.
Step 1.
Log into BPOINT and and navigate to Transactions, then Manage transactions.
Step 2.
You can filter transactions based on certain criteria, e.g., transaction date, transaction amount, etc. You can access the filter function from View filters.
Step 3.
Once you have chosen your filters click Apply filters.
Step 4.
You can also search the transactions via their details, using the shown searchable fields. Once you have found the transaction, click that row of information to enter the transaction detail page.
Step 5.
Within the detail page you will be able to explore more about the transaction including, payment details, transaction result, payment amounts, card details, payment source, authentication and fraud screening result.
Step 6.
If you would like to resend the receipt to your customer, you can do so via Send receipt.
Step 7.
A notification will be shown, and you can then specify the method to deliver the receipt and enter the contact details needed. Please note that SMS is only available on Enterprise package. Fees and charges may apply to send SMS.
Step 8.
For an approved payment, you can also process a refund by selecting Process refund.
Step 9.
Refunds cannot exceed the total of the original transaction. In addition, you can refund multiple times so long as the total refund value does not exceed the original transaction amount. The refund will be sent to your customer’s payment method directly.
Step 10.
A notification will be shown for the successful refund, and you share the receipt with the customer. Please note that SMS is only available on Enterprise package. Fees and charges may apply to send SMS.
